Notes:
Shared-server accounts
The database name, username nomenclature used in the example below are for shared-server accounts that requires a prefix, usually the assigned "siteusername", i.e., "siteusername_dbname" (for the database name), and "siteusername_dbusername" (for the username of th person with access to the database). Note that an underscore, not a hyphen is used.
Unique FTP Username and Password
=> This is needed for Linux and Unix servers; not needed for Windows servers. For security reasons, this unique FTP username and password must be different from the default FTP Username and Password that was automatically assigned once the sitename and password are created.
Since the unique FTP username is not the default FTP Username, the actual (full) username -- for the unique FTP username -- would include the address of the domain name, e.g., This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it => where "ftpusername" is unique FTP username you have chosen for this site, i.e., joomla-university.org.
It is best if the above database name, username & password are setup prior to the installation. This is true also for the unique FTP username and password.
